And thats what Im worried about. Ultimately, I had a responsibility to fulfill the court-ordered obligations and I didnt because of work. Later, I had an oppurtunity to continue individual counseling, but didnt follow up in a timely manner. Ive got some evidence to back myself up, but utimately, I think it will come down to how the judge sees it. Did I intend to just say, ' the court' and not finish the last of my requirements? Or has work temporarily keep me from initally doing my counseling followed by a busy schedule of school and work? |

| Ill serve my time but im not looking forward to it. Having to go do this will mean I have to drop all my classes, lose my scholorship and almost certainly not be able to get back into school again. I will also certainly lose my job. Im not saying I dont deserve these things, but I am saying I dont want them to happen. I have a pretty legitimate reason for not scheduling my counseling, but it is not air tight. Im just hoping the judge wont be too inquisitive and will take me at face value... |

another thing that i might add to my previous suggestions is to ask for more counseling essions or community service or other harsh things as punishment, so that you can continue going to school and work.
sounds odd, i know, about asking for more punishment, but that strategy might influence the judge. |
