Richard D James album is definitely my favorite.

The first track, '4', is arguably my favorite Aphex Twin song of all time and the whole album is a great span of electronic music. All of his albums are great, but I definitely support the Richard D James album
over all others.

EDIT: BTW, Aphex Twin is only one guy.

He's my favorite artist, I think. SAW 85-92 and Drukqs are quite nice. Along with the rest of his releases.

Come to daddy will grate your ears, let that one rest for a while.

Instead buy Drukqs, I think it captures the insaneness well. It's like a picasso in music form.

I have to say Aphex isn't a fave of mine, but his music is good for giving people this -> face. Also for disturbing neighbours.

Depends what you are looking for in an album really. I really like Drukqs because there a decent selection of randomness on there. Maybe a few too many piano tracks (although some are fantastic).

But yeah, I'd go with Drukqs. :D

Even if you don't find his music particularly listenable, you have to admit that he has incredible producing talent, a huge amount of composing creativity, and is just a complete nutter in general.

SAW 85-92 is house, by the way. Or at least as house as AFX will ever get.

All I can say is pretty much the Richard D. James album because that's the one I have, and it's pretty good.
