I just wanted to start an apperication thread on this great producer.
The 'Askew' sound is amazing. Huge kick drums,driving percussion and his own unique take on trance. The type of bangin trance I love.
His recent work on 'Club Music Ep' is fantastic.

| Askew is a better dj imo, the man blends techno and trance together very well and he never seems to get the credit that he deserves. I expect his dj career to get very big (if it ain't big enough already) |

yep, great DJ and producer, someone who brings something new to trance which is few and far between these days. i love his sets, the way he lays little techno loops over his trance and stuff to make it more driving and banging. and oh.. when he plays techno, he plays ing techno!
also happens to be one of the soundest DJ's i have ever spoken to. |

Yep - fantastic producer. :D His remix of Floor Control is just :eyespop: and I'm also a big fan of Skylab & Air Guitar. High quality trance all the way with kickdrums that can put your windows through. ;)
BTW, check Pablo Gargano's 'Osho' if you like Askew-style trance with thunderous kicks. Hardly surprising given Gargano has co-produced some of Askew's stuff. ;) |
