Right! I too am a strong proponent of talking with people that want nothing less than the complete annihilation of you and your people. It works wonders! Highly recommended!!;)

As for Arafat, I thought the guy got clearance to fly off to France.

What will be interesting to see is if the death of Arafat will lead in some way to a death of the Palestinian cause... I think if the cards turn up right that might actually be a possible outcome.

Regardless it only means a chance for change, which is a good thing.
Palestinian
The majority of Palestinians are praying for Arafat's recovery. There is no clear successor to Arafat, never has been. Mahmoud Abbas and Ahmed Qurei would probably take over but they're seen as simple men with no symbol of Palestinian independence or resistance attached to them. People don't really regard them as heroes either. Arafat's death could mean the collapse of the PA in the long run and the decline of support for the Fatah faction, which currently enjoys at least 60% of popular support. If that happens, the Islamic fundamentalist factions, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, will have increased support and then you can forget about any peace with Israel. The only successor to Arafat that has a good chance to hold the PLO/PA together properly would have been Marwan Barghouti, but he's in Israeli prison for life and precisely for that reason. The collapse of the PA means continued Israeli control over the Palestinian territories for perhaps many years, and disengagement from Gaza will make it easier to control the territories and lower the costs of occupation for many years to come. Going through Arafat is the only path to a two state solution acceptable by both peoples. Otherwise continued Israeli invasions and occupation, coupled with international pressure will lead to a one state solution with or without Arafat. Israel's time is running out. It has put itself in a very difficult position.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have always stated they will not stop until they have all their land and remove the Jews from the middle east. You can't reason with that, especially with a group that uses intentional civilian killings as a tactic. Israel has no one to talk to and that is the problem, the terrorists are stronger than the leadership of the country yet the weak leadership hangs on, with no possibility of ever doing the one thing that it would take to end this conflict, stopping the terrorist groups from ever killing another Israeli citizen intentionally.

Hamas and Jihad are defending themselves against pigs like you.
There is no Israelie citizen ? Do you have dreamed about it?
They are all criminals. They stool the Palestinian country of the real owners of the land: The PALESTINIANs. You can like it or not.The criminals must give their land back. As long this is not realised, they will answer with force.

The hell with Israel:o

Well guess what, things change…The Palestinians might have lived on this land back in 1948 but this land didn’t really belong to them, it was under the British mandate at the time. And then Israel got its independence which was approved by the majority of countries members of the UN.
And since then this land belongs to the Israeli people and the Israeli state, and any Palestinian who will try to claim it as his own will get his ass kicked, deal with it.

He's not opposed to the ways of the Israeli state. He's opposed to an Israeli state. There is only twon reason I can think of that somebody would be for that; one is hate. the other is ignorance.

The Israelis aren't going anywhere, deal with it. They were given the land, it was approved. They were attacked, they won more land in multiple wars started against them, now the palestinians want it back. Multiple times since the 80's the palestinians have shown that they can not hold up to their end of the bargain by curbing terrorism. Every time there is calm and it appears that peace will happen some terrorist event occurs that derails the whole process. Perhaps if the militants would understand that their actions are not helping their people but only hurting them from regaining the west bank and gaza.
