The problem is that girls try to be subtle, and guys for some reason (THis means me) do not pick up those subtleties.
I think also girls don't handle rejection as well as men do, but they sure as hell know how to dish it out.
Men don't generally trust girls that try to pick them up...on second thought they don't trust the ones that don't try to pick them up either, but this has no bearing at all on woman picking up men , what the hell is trust anyway but a lame excuse to get someone to watch your dog while you are on holiday. |

yes if you are a girl, don't be too direct, be more subtle, it will be better to picky shy boys up. |

Ignored. At first your, and I can only assume it was intentional, misreading of what I was saying was amusing because it lead to arguing. Then it just got ing annoying.

| I've actually had a quite a few women try to initiate conversation, not to brag of course, but I usually don't even realize their intentions until after the moment has past. Usually I don't realize it because I can't believe a beautiful girl would be interested in me, and also because they are so subtle. The girls who do come on strong though, I'm usually not attracted to. Also I'm very chicken when it come to beautiful girls. |

Anyways I'm gettin back on topic.
Spyder, after reading the clarification of your first post I'm going to ammend my earlier advice. Since you're not looking for general pick up tips, rather you're interested in meeting a particular guy you saw I'll suggest the following (some of which has already been mentioned):
1. Make eye contact with the guy. In a loud club this is the best form of communication. It’s direct and hard to misinterpret, but some of us guys a real block heads so follow up with step #2.
2. Get close to him smile and give him an opportunity to strike up a conversation. If he's at the bar you might want to get next to him, order a drink or ask some question he'll know the answer to. What song is the dj playing? What's good to mix with red bull? Get creative and think of something to say. We can't tell you how to do everything besides, that would take the fun out of it. One thing guys love to do more than anything else is help a lady in need whether she got a flat tire or wants advice. If you don't believe me just look at all the guys falling over each other to give you advice in this thread. It's a good way to intiate things while leaving the guy with the impression that he's starting things.
