Early sander sets are pretty proggy.
Sander's EM of the year 2001 is good prog trance/house
Oakenfold at times did some good progressive stuff, IE 98,99 stuff. I have an old EM of him from the rojan in shanghai, and it's still quality progressive trance IMO.
Anything Digweed is always good prog. Progressive house set from heaven's 4th birthday in oct 2002(?) is a great progressive house set.
Deep Dish their newer stuff is mainly prog, aside from their EM mix this year, anything deep dish is very progressive.
If you are getting into progressive, you HAVE to have the Sasha and Digweed norhern expedition CDs. Those CDs are the definition of progressive music.
Progressive house like any other form of house always gets mixed with other types of house, so it's hard to recommend just *progressive* house sets. |

Creamer and K (John Creamer and Stephane K) can be good if you like dark and twisted prog, though some of their stuff is slow and occasionally boring.
Nick Warren is very good - I've heard sets of his that remind me of John Digweed's style.
Another amazingly good local DJ is Jon Tremblay, pick up any sets of his if you see them online. Ditto for Aaron Mossey.
Dave Seaman - arguable whether you'd call him trance or prog(I've heard both from different people), but if you haven't heard him check him out. |
