heh... heres my thread :)
i am highly into body modification... im also very obsessed with cyborgs and aspire to look like one (no, im not joking). i am also symmetrical, so yea, anything i have on one side is also on the other or else its in the middle.
i dont have pics of all of them, but i have been pierced 22 times.

labret (terrible piercing to get for gum erosion issues)

i am going in to get a vertical hood piercing next week, and i am looking into more surface piercings including a possible upper chest vertical one, and i'd love to get pocketing done on my forearms however no one over here really does it a lot yet.

those are the outside of my legs, about a foot high for each one... im a small 5'2 girl so they go from my hip to my knee on both legs. i plan on getting another rip on my lower back, connected to the leg ones by metal plating etc, sometime in the near future (ive put those off a few years to make sure i really want to put stuff on my back).
heh.. again. my ultimate quest to look like a cyborg :) i love biomechanical stuff. |

Piercing I wouldn't really have one done, I think they only suit certain people, like their cool and stuff, but like I've got some mates with piercing and they look really cool and suit them, others their piercing look horrible.
On the other hand I have tattoo's both my upper arms are dedicated to my Celtic upbringing, I love tribal tattoo's their so cool, because u can have a small one done and if its layed out correctly you can add to it, and keep on adding. |

My navel is pierced...currently I have a bar in there with a small blue rhinestone up on top and a larger one that sits in the navel...blue is my fav color
I have a tattoo on the small of my back...its kinda like a tribal sign with a triangular flower in the middle...the flower is a magenta color with it fading into white with a beautiful blue center...kinda like <<<@>>>
My tatt hurt way more then the piercing...45 mins for the tatt while 3 lil pinches for the piercing. |

| yeah my tat on my left arm didn't hurt at all, but the one of my right arm is the best one and it took between 1 and a half hour, to 2 hours to do, I had it done when I was on holiday in Greece, I was drunk when I had it done just staggered into the place when I was drunk with my mates, and trashed half my holiday money on it hahah did it cain after the alcohol wore off, and there was no antiseptic cream at all on the Greek island we went to, hahah sun and salt water sorted it out, I dunno what kind of needles the dude was using, either way the tattoo's cool. |

Yeah i have my nipple and ear pierced. I love the nipple ring because it's not obvious i have it and b'sides it suits me :p:whip:
I do have to say i'm not crazy about girls getting overly pierced for some reason. i guess it's just a turnoff for me... *shrugs* |

i certainly hope that was not some form of reference to me.
personally, i feel the piercings (on guys or girls) should be an accent or highlight, not a feature. for example, if someone gets a million facial piercings all in one location, that is unattractive to me. whereas a nicely placed surface piercing can be a nice highlight to the body.
i'm kind of surprised, it seems most people that have responded only have one piercing or so. i guess i might attribute that to my industrial background... and maybe people in the scene (especially trance lovers) aren't into body modification i guess. i think it is beautiful. |
