AIDS patients take costly medications sometimes to relieve their symptoms. Also, when they take a turn for the worse, they tend to end up in the hospital in their final days.
I don't think the new helmet law is any good. I'd prefer that compromise that was mentioned. It's actually a very good idea. |

I wasn't sure if their meds were covered or not...
Makes sense then....I guess I just didn't want to believe that I'd be paying for someone else's dumbass for infecting themselves with a fatal disease...
(I realize that self-infection won't be the case in some instances but I'm willing to bet that most of it is...) |

12. Surgical masks and gloves will be required to be worn at all times to prevent the spread of disease.
13. Toys with small parts, such as Risk, jigsaw puzzles, checkers, chess, and action figures will no longer be allowed to be sold in stores due to the potential choking hazards for small children.
14. Sleep is important, so everyone will be required by law to be in bed by 9 PM and stay there until 6 AM.
15. To prevent the spread of fatal diseases, sexual relations will be prohibited.

Happening since Sep 1:
All new water heaters installed in residential zones must be equipped with a temperature governer of 120F. Failure to install the governer will result in a revokation of the building permit and possible fines and jail time. The reasoning? Apparently some parents are too stupid to teach their kids the dangers of hot water. Even doctors are against this law saying most scalding cases involve kettles and not running water.
So now the government is regulating our water temperature in are own homes? Cant people take responisbility for themselves including their kids? Didnt it used to be called child neglect if you let your kids burn themselves due to lack of supervision? What's next, banning kettles?
This is exactly why im opposed to mandatory government behavioural control because it doesnt stop with that law. |
