Georgia is pretty damn cool now that I'm getting used to it. Savannah is SUCH a beautiful town it's ridiculous. I always thought Madison was a neat looking town, but it's nothing compared to downtown Savannah (the suburbs are fairly non-descript, like just about any town with urban sprawl though).
Got a pretty cool concept going on Thursdays with some DJ freinds I met, renovating the basement of a downtown bar and turning it into a DJ lounge and art gallery (the Savannah College Of Art & Design is one of the biggest art schools in the country, so there's no shortage of amazing art we'll be able to display down there!). It's still early yet, but based on the early returns, this should pan out to be something pretty neat and unique (though there are alot of similarities between Magnetic @ The King Club, minus the art aspect).
Other than that, things are pretty cool here, other than the lack of a record store in town... |

There already was a huge psy trance event THIS WEEKEND called Crossroads in Beloit, that got posted to tranceaddict.
Also, there's stuff going on all the time in Madison.

im fully aware of the audiognomes. i tried to make it to the shindig this weekend, but it was 30 minutes away and i have no car. im trying to get something going locally, actually in madison.
i know they have a night coming up at the king club, but id like to do another night. i figure if theres a psytrance scene around we shouldnt have a problem getting a trance night going. |

hm...I might need to check that out. I don't really like the setup of the dance room at the cardinal, but i'd go for some good music.
Also, Melodic Sessions at the Casbah on Friday. Should be some good prog, breaks, tribal, etc. Adam The Tree, Dj Harsh, Donnie Vendetta.
