You want to talk about footprints of applications, try Winamp 5 with a Skin on it and then Winamp2 with a skin (ok, so the skins are more complex in 5, I'm not overly interested in how fancy they can make it at the expensive of speed). It was sluggish to load compared to 2.95. |

Hm.. I'm using a very basic skin(back from 2.9 days) and never noticed any memory/performance problems. |

Try a winamp5 skin, it's horrible IMO. |
