Forget chocolate bars. I propose school vending machines be stocked with:
Row 1 (appetizers and deserts): Tobacco, weed, Hashish, mushrooms.
Row 2 (for before school prayer): Peyote, Ibogaine, Salvia, Morning Glory.
Row 3 (for students on the go): MDMA, Meth, Cocaine, PCP.
Row 4 (beverages): Whisky, GHB, Robitussin, Hoffman's Drops.
Hey, these kids have gotta learn sometime right? |

I guess I should add a token serious comment here, even though it's really not worth the effort.
Theresa, no problem is ever solved by rules and the violation of individual rights. Walk around the Guvernment sometime and ask yourself how many of the fine folks there have had a nice orderly law-abiding night.
The only thing that silly rules do is inconvenience the people who already care about their health and safety and only occasionally do stupid things. The real troublemakers will find a way to their lives up anyway - you can't help them, and neither can the government, and further to that, that's not where the responsibility lies anyway.
The cliché old "the government should step in and do something" is slacktivism at its finest. You think fatty foods are a problem, fine - then get off your ass and spend your OWN time and money and start a campaign to EDUCATE people about the health and safety risks of [insert pet peeve here], and maybe get them to WILLINGLY give up these things. Don't take this armchair activist "somebody else other than me should do something about it" position, because it won't earn you any respect. It might give you the smarmy sense of self-gratification that comes from knowing that at least you wanted to help people even though you actually did nothing at all, but that's about all it will do. |

Ban junkfood in schools? Hell why not just ban junkfood?
A) this is why i'll never vote NDP because they are just a worse version of the Liberals.
B) I guess salt will be next on the ban brigade's hit list?
SOMEBODY BAN THE BANNERS BECAUSE THIS IS GETTING RETARDED |
Where's the info about banning junkfood in schools? it states nothing of the sort in the article. I'd really like to see it. |

Ban clubbing and fast food!!

fast food should be banned for kids primarily. because they cannot think of their health for themselves |
