welli used to live in abu dhabi which was amuch more beautiful city to live in (capital of UAE)
dubai is pulling all these stunts now cos its the only way that emirate makes any money...tourism

wats dumber about it is taht the airport is within the city in dubai and thats one of the reasons why the rest of the buildings in the city are so short....adn then this penis in the middle |

EMAAR is not releasing the Burj Dubai's height to the public. For eg. The Freedom Tower in NY was supposed to be the 'tallest' but that has gone back to the drawing board due to the Burj Dubai. Although when I tool my annual (Toronto-> London -> Dubai) trip this summer I had some very reliable sources informing me that the Burj Dubai is going to be 1km+ !!11one)

What's worse is that it's going to 'overshadow' the entire Shaikh Zayed road and the 'proposed' Corniche Development. BTW it's not only Burj Dubai and there are going to be 2 more at the least. Them being 'The Pinnacle' and and the other one is being cuurenty unnamed. Dubai is trying to have the 3 tallest towers in the world, rest assured it will at least have one. (The Burj Dubai)

Well 90% of Dubai is non-arab so there is a lot of western style clothing/fashions being worn. There is also 50+ nightclubs in Dubai, most of which are empty since the goal of 'outpartying Beirut' failed miserably. LOL And the prostitution problem is at an all time high when I was walking up to a friend's hotel room we were approached by by diffrent prostitutes 3 times! |
