all women there arent "draped" from head to toe..only the local arab women adn u really dont know how hot they actually are most of them :eyespop:

yes Dubai is nice indeed. a big chunck of the city is under construction, so it needs a little more time.. in 5 years or so, it'll be wonmderful.
yes it has alot of foreign people, I have relatives who live on Jumerah(?) beach road, and that area is filled with Brits. Funny thing is, alot of the Brits there are the "pub dwellers" types, yet they are treated like gods in Dubai. no wonder they are happy (in addition to the lovely tax-free salary)
what I also liked is the cars. nice cars everywhere. Plus you can drive 120 km inside the city (the big roads)
what else, ya lots of prostitution as someone said, mostly from ex USSR and Philipins/China (?)
and finaly, that place got to be the best place on earth in terms of services. They have people hired to do the smallest things...
the thing I didn't like, is that they exploit cheap workers from South Asia (no body complained, but that's how it seemed to me) |

those people "exploited" can be compared to the minimum wage part time worksers here that are treated as jsut another number..only difference is they make more money there |

ya, but from what I noticed, the work conditions they have are not that great (esp. in construction and such)
I mean these are the people who built the city...
I guess it's better than back in thier homes, so that's why no one complains... |
