I don't drink coffee to "wake up", just for fun or when going out..
I hate filtered coffee though. I usually drink cappuccino, espresso or tea. if I have to stay late or wake up early I make my self a quick nescafe
btw for those who like energy drinks, check this Jap drink "oronamin c"
best tasting energy drink ever |

| I work nights so i drink a hell of a lot of coffee, not even to keep me awake cause it doesnt do that for me.. i do just cause it wastes time.. I was at 6 cups a day, but thats only cause i get my Timmy's coffee for free... i'm now down to one before work, one on my lunch break, an sometimes one in the morning(depending on how i'm feeling) i usually get 3x3's but the cream dont sit right so i'm gonna see if they'll start carry'n soy milk.. (mmm soy milk) |

ok whats the deal with you canadians and coffee?? i just dont get it? the line at all the coffee places on the ryerson campus (especially tim hortons) are always crazy long. its like alot of canadians have a psychological addiction to coffee. i have friends that cant make it half way through the day without coffee???
for those of you that drink coffee: where do you get your coffee in the morning? does it matter whether its from tim hortons or starbucks? and most of all why do you drink so much coffee? |
Trancechaos,
Nice to meet you at Rank 1... If you're looking for Timmy's coffee at Ryerson, might I suggest you go to the Tim Hortons at College Park? The one near the bridge to the Rogers Building and the one on Victoria St. are always rammed, especially near the top of an hour of the day.
University has made me become a caffeine addict, no kidding. I need AT LEAST one a day. That and the fact that Engineering requires long nights (sleep is made up in class)... :D
BTW what kind of Engineer are you? |

My theory on the whole coffee thing  It's not really the coffee, it's the cup, see many a time I make coffee at home and it's ok but it will never compare to a Timmy's coffee, and even if I bring a Timmy's coffee home and for sharing reasons might pour it in a mug at home it still dosent taste as good as when it is in a good old Tim Hortons take-out cup!!! So I think we are addicted to the cups not the coffee

Whats with all this labelling. Canadians and stuff? Like other people dont drink coffee.
Generalizations are so wrong even if they do exist.
;) ;)

at home, its tea (either in the morning or late evening).
at work we have a cafe vienne, one or two a day.
Press Cafe is also a good place!
I try to avoid Timmy's because their coffee is so weak :/ |

| If I drink anything with coffee beans in it - it is a double/triple long espresso. |
