Trancechaos,
Nice to meet you at Rank 1... If you're looking for Timmy's coffee at Ryerson, might I suggest you go to the Tim Hortons at College Park? The one near the bridge to the Rogers Building and the one on Victoria St. are always rammed, especially near the top of an hour of the day.
University has made me become a caffeine addict, no kidding. I need AT LEAST one a day. That and the fact that Engineering requires long nights (sleep is made up in class)... :D
BTW what kind of Engineer are you? |
haha another ryeng student....im in aerospace eng |

I love coffee! I drink 3-6 cups a day.
From what I've read, as of late, there are practically zero bad effects to drinking several cups of coffee a day. In fact, it may be good! The extra stimulation to the brain from the caffiene might help prevent or postpone the effects of aging on the brain.
The only down side to drinking lots of coffee is that diuretic effect (it makes you pee). That can dehydrate you, so you just need to drink a little extra water.
Oh yeah, and coffee breath too.:nervous:
I think we have the best coffee selection in Canada. I always miss our coffee when travelling. |

:stongue: Yeah...except their idea of coffee is much different...for them it's a little more sit and enjoy as far as I understand...for us it's much more GO GO GO GO GO... |
that's right.. no Extra Super Grande cups to go there, at least none that I've seen ;)
unfortunately the european in me must've worn out cause since university i've developed such a weakness for those grande lattes from Starbucks or Second Cup... and standing in a Tim Hortons line up has become a routine to get my caffeine fix:nervous: |

I don't know about that... but I've read that an espresso is better for you than a regular cupa joe.
I used to be a coffee addict. Was at the point where I needed to drink a few cups just so I could sleep at night and not go through withdrawal like symptoms. Three months of nothing but green tea cured that. :)
On occasion when I do grab a coffee it's usually from starbucks, 2nd cup or timothy's world coffee. Try to stay away from Timmie's coffee because it's so weak. |
