that all depends.....

Are you a kangeroo humper?

Is there really a difference between a kiwi and an aussie other than preferred animal to hump?

Do you object to being called ugly pommie ex convicts?

Do you mind that no one even cares about what goes on that far away from civilization?

Are you all as slack jawed as crocodile dundee?

Was your flag a result of good old fashioned aussie laziness when they took the kiwi flag and erased the red from the stars?

Just wondering....

Golden.

Thanks everybody has been most helpful.

Also, do all Canadians wear flannel with diagonal plaid shirt pockets and blue jeans?

Do you put maple syrup on ham?

Does Canada have its own culture, or only bits and pieces stolen off the French and Americans?

Has Canada ever produced a half decent musical talent?

Do Canadians object to being called 'America's small ugly cousin'?

Does anyody actually visit Canada?

OK Retard, here is what you need to do.
goto http://www.canadahistory.com and do your research.

BTW, You have a history question not a geography question.

except that by the way his questions are posed, hes clearly not interested in a history lesson. More likely a flame war.

Canada is no longer a viable country. Quebec and Alberta will separate by the end of the decade.

Id move to the country of alberta. Low taxes and people who make sense. Just do something about the redneck bible thumpers and we have a deal

You won't have low taxes when the oil runs out...

All that will be left are the bible thumpers.

most of the oil is under frozen earth half the year, or mixed with sand in tar fields. Also the quality of the oil is not akin to oil found in the middle east. It's actually called slow oil, meaning it's much more viscious then light sweet crude found in countries such as Saudi Arabia. Only reason why this form of oil is still viable is becuase of the huge demand for oil. Or else it just costs too much to get out of the earth. Companies have to pump steam into the ground to get oil to come out. Also the oil that is mixed in with the earth is extracted akin to how coal is extracted. Basically an extractor tares at the earth until there's nothing left but a giant hole.

the tar sands are actually a very interesting place. I wouldnt have thought it, but its magnificent to see. And they are developing better cheaper methods of removal, to make it even MORE profitable.
Ya oil.
ps theres lots of tree as well. when the oil runs up, we can plant in the giant holes, and cut down all of our trees that arent in National parks.
