I've always had coincidences, happen-stance, one-in-a-milion kinda things happen to me, and for a change it's a good one.
I was working as a server @ the Fox and Fiddle for the last half of the summer, and had 3 gals on the patio doing shots along with their meal, total bill about $110-$120. They were loud, classless, and begging guys to buy them drinks, swearing @ them if they didn't and all around being trash.
They were parked right in front, in a bright yellow Dodge Neon, and had run to the car a few times for a cell phone, etc. When i dropped off the bill, and cleared the table, I made note of the plate since they had been refusing the bill for about an hour. Sure enough, as soon as I got caught @ last call with a big order, they booked it, and my manager made me eat the bill.
I just moved into a new neighbourhood, close to the Fox, and lo and behold, the same Yellow neon is parked within view of my apt window, same plates, and I've seen the one girl from that night since using the car.
A friend of mine drives a tow truck, so i had him drop by this morning and take the car to the bottom of Jones and leave it infront of a fire-hydrant.

Nice! Jacki used to live in that area, and my home away from home in TO is at Queen and Leslie. Nice to have another friend in the neighborhood. Oh, and there's still plenty crackheads, hah! KevinEarth and I got pulled over in the summer...The cop said to us "You were driving kind of fast, and well there's lots of crackheads in the area so we get kind of suspicious." LOL! |
