I'd have more respect for the Dutch trance dj's if they weren't so ing predictable. It's like they bring 5 hours worth of vinyl whenever they come to the US or Canada and play almost the same sets whereever they go.

Its certainly possible, but I doubt it sold that much outside of TO. Mark isn't very well known outside of the 401 corridor. I know people that bought it and they were all Guv-heads at the time.

If you ask me, it's quite an achievment for Mark to be within top 250. He most surely deserves it, but I am just surprised how he even got there with no productions and world touring.

I noticed that with Ferry when he came at LOL3 and played practically the exact same set he had been playing that month.
I don't really listen to sets Armin plays when he's on tour, so i never really noticed that. Probably better that way, at least i don't notice the difference i guess... |

Dont get me wrong. These guys play the songs that a lot of people want to hear but i think there are other DJs out there that could put them together much better.

Well I don't agree with you. Trance is a lot different from other styles and you can not be as creative with it as tech and prog/house djs are. At the same time I notice Armin pulling lots of cool mixing tricks. Tiesto too, but only when he's in the mood for it. |
