I've seen the majority of the dj's on that list.
The fact of the matter is what he's playing at the moment is not cheesy. You just say that because it's picotto.
He has had a few excellent releases on alchemy, but becasue it's picotto it's automatically cheesey. |

No i used to think Picotto was good...circa mid to late 2001.
In fact i love Baguette...but i am saying overall he is cheesey when it comes to techno...for the most part. |

I am trying to find a DJ, who is playing mainly that (or similiar) kind of techno in his sets. Maybe DJ Montana is the guy, but I didnt heard any of his sets/cds. Somebody can help me with that? |

i dont listen to tech-trance.. because, like alot of others said, is kinda cheesy..

mauro's tunes like pulsar are pretty cheesy, but thats old . you can even tell from his tunes, the techno tracks he spits out are just brilliant as to that cheesy he's done in the past. Also, that was just the late 90's, you cannot compare it to his style and preformance now. he has shaped the way for italian techno and brought along great names like gabry fasano, mario piu, rino cerrone (I think) and of course ..the great: Gaetano Parisio (he deserves capital letters in his name):toothless
but to say mauro isnt good.. thats just too far... mabye not your style, but you cannot say he isnt good and have anyone respect you for it.
Now *I*, I can say TIESTO SUCKS and will have some people to back me up... because hey... he does. tiesto14, and you say mauro was better in the 90's, no in fact thats when he was...sub-par. and to make your name tiesto14... shows that your opinion...shouldnt mean much :) :p :cool: |

and DJ_Hailstone, try out Haak's sets, from what ive heard he has a nice blend of techno and some trancier tunes. tracklists look good to me.
and also.. you said your looking for more speedy j like tunes and that you dont want stuff by adam beyer.. you obviously dont know much about speedy j... what about him in alias like Electric Deluxe and the collabs with adam beyer, literon, and chris liebing..
tiesto's techno shows the worst side of techno, and you should check out the REAL techno artists people have been recommending, instead of getting deeper into the "tiesto fever" |

i think the music you should be looking for is more of a progressive/big room sound..i don't think i have ever heard tiesto play any TECHNO like umek,beyer,player,misstress barbara style, but maybe i am wrong...
