Hi everyone :)
Last week in class we started discussing about money and scholarship, alot of people in my class (unfortunately) get that, app. 200-240 $ (yeah, thats alot of money) We started discussing tax money, I said its not fair that people who earn alot of money has to pay Alot more taxes, even 50%. Some people agreed, some did not. Well, here in norway we have a little system called "take from rich, give to poor" (not exactly that, take it with a pinch of salt:))
So the people who earn more money that others, has to e.g pay twice as much for their kids in kindergarden, and stuff like that. THis is ing retard!
My point will come..
I said to this guy called fredrik ahh, Today we're having pizza, and last week we had like: pizza, taco, chicken, pizza, taco, pizza ( its true, seriously..) And then he starts calling me spoiled. OKay, we have some good food, big Deal !!
Then I said, can you come with more examples of Why I am spoiled. He comes with stupid things like, you got a expensive jacket from your mom & dad. I'm "come on" cant I get nothing from my parents. It was expensive though, so was my gloves (goretex and all:D)
And now, even mats' starts calling me spoiled. I'm getting kind of pissed about this, cause I am NOT spoiled,really! I pay for most of my clothes, my computer, surround sound tv, mp3 player, camera, etcetc...
While mats' scholarship are covering the expenses for his trip to switzerland :(
Isn't that crazy?

Ok, this thread was meant for ffonline "to" mats, but he is not on TA.

| i'm not even close to spoiled unfortunately hehe. it really shows in college towns too. i mean everyone at my school gets money from their parents for their rents and stuff and they all drive these rich cars. |

I pay for most of my stuff out of my pocket.
I still live at home though. My parents let me stay there as long as I am in college.
I pay for my classes, car payment, insurance, etc. My parents do help me out when I need it, but I dont ever ask for a handout.
Compared to some people, I am spoiled though :P |

| I used to be spoiled growing up and when I was in college, but there are kids there who made me look dirt poor. Spoiled has so many levels. |

Spoiled? Me? NNaaaa I dont think I am.
When I was growing up I was....but i started to understand the value of a dollar pretty soon. Im the type of kid that wants to do better than his father and eventually make a little more than him.
You know...could be a cultural thing, but i think every generation under should attempt to honor the one before.
Anywayz, i had body guards, maids, drivers, and gardeners as a kid. I went to private school all of my life. Living in 3rd world countries rocked the hizzy for me.
But id like to make it all up and be financially independent.
i still think i might be a tad spoiled tho.....just not enough to be a penis about it. |
