Delerium, Conjure One, Front Line Assembly, Ulrich Schnauss, Massive Attack, Moloko and so on.

Depending on the specific mood, you can enjoy pretty much any track. But I must say there are times when the song creates the mood necessary to reach some type of feeling, feeling that many would consider bliss.

Yes! Although the mood I'm aiming for is not quite bliss. (Unfortunately, English is woefully inadequate to describe the feeling I'm trying to.)

To me, the perfect feeling is more like... a feeling that, in retrospect, will give you something like nostalgia. Maybe "joy" is a better word. It's very magical.

Yeah. I don't care much about naming the feeling as long as I experience it. Sometimes the best of feelings has no name, it just is.

Solar Fields - Swimming With Stones

In that video of Jame Zabiela scratching at MondayBar.. after he goes off and Sasha starts spinning..

That 1 track Sasha starts the set with.. THAT is awesome. I have no idea what it is. There was a huge thread debating what track it was, and then I lost interest.

If anyone knows it let me know or PM me :)

I agree that the name shouldn't be important. But it's very useful, as I've started a few threads with the intent of finding a song that evokes that feeling, only to find that nobody has a clue what I'm talking about :)

And clearly, the same songs won't evoke the same emotions in everyone, but giving examples of songs is a good start.

Global Communication's album 76'14 is still the best ambient album of all time in my opinon. 9'25 is just the most amazing track and still gives me shivers.

Some excellent suggestions in here. After listening to Solar Stone's Chilled Out Euphoria (the first part of vol 2. is SO amazing), I have a new favorite chillout track (other than the sample I posted!)

Spacemen - The Beloved

SUCH touching vocals.

Those who responded with FSOL - Cascade.. Good pick!

Lifeforms is a beauty on the whole though.. My personal favourite off it is Spineless Jelly.
