when i heard it live the 1st time, i thought it was a horrible pitch change on the table :P

the whole ing track sounds half assed though (although i still quite like it) but for a PvD production its horrendously put together. Even when people dont like his stuff its still hard to deny that hes technically a great producer...

the whole structure of the intro & outro is rubbish, and the intro drums are really really muddy.

Which about comprises my exploration of any music that has been released in the past year and a half or so.

Go shulman!

I created a shulman vs shpongle poll in the polls section.

It became tied at 2 a peice, and then dropped through the pages because nobody knew who the hell shulman was (im guessing)

Haven't heard any essential mixes at all this year, so that's too hard to decide.. Tracklistings from the ones from Dave Clarke, Dave Seaman and King Unique all look pretty interesting though.. Maybe I'll get back on this later.

Caught up on some of the EMs done this year, and my vote for best one goes to

Meat Katie (14-11-2004)

Damn fine .

only thing i will comment on is Tunes and Remixes of the year...i think this year has been pretty quiet as a whole for EDM.

Tune of the Year would have to go to White Room - White Room and also Alter Ego - Rocker, for being the tune of the love parade this year :D

And Remix of the year would probably go to Randy Katana - In Silence (Txitarro Remix)

I am not a big fan of In Silence, but i would class it as the definitive tune of 2004. It has been played at nigh on every single club night i've been out to in the past 6 months or so, and i've been out a lot. I would say that it is 2004's Equivalent to Marco V's Loops and Tings last year.

And my personal favourite would have to be the Thrillseekers remix of Reflekt. :)
