for one maby someone on ta could back up their opinion without flaming one, and without totally changeing the subject...
maby you should look into your record box/cd's(that im sure you bought) and back up your opinion with something like...
even though in silence was a mix of a track he did a few years ago, it brought something totally different to the table.
you felt one solid wave was a solid trancer with a good amount of energy, and sam sharps remix was a solid b-side
that aquarius was another good track, that randy had a good effect on because the original blows.
maby you could also get away with tribal shock, but its 2003 |
::applause::
Yes, we need more of this sort of thing on TA, rather than reflexive flaming to criticism. |

Bah, it may be true that Paul pushed it for a summer release, but I still think it's one of the best tracks of the year. Part of why I like it is that it's both simple and distinctive. |
to say that i dont like the melody would be a lie...but its just soo repetitive, i see why you like it, but like laura said, the intro/outro are 2 much to handle, u could just make the track 2 minutes, and just loop the intro and outro :P |

dave said he saw spastik bounce on a pic of paul labtop....bounce is pauls name for rework on his labtop for some reason, there was 1 more on the list of 15 or so that we couldnt figure out... |

You're right that it is a bit too repetitive. In that respect it could use some work. Changing the key for a phrase or two is a neat trick, Paul, but it doesn't equal a fuller track.
I'm not saying it's perfect. But "perfect" isn't a word I would use to describe anything this year. |

hmmm, it might be something as simple as making it more 'intro friendly' - its already a straight up 'intro' track (for a trance dj anyway) but maybe he just stuck some wooshy noises on the front :haha: or maybe he made the kick a bit tougher near the end, because it does just rumble for a long time before there is any sort of kick drum, and when it comes in its a bit of a let down really. |

i thought the key change was a no-no, sounded ok in another way, but didnt work with wsw, the ambient mix is prety cool, i called it in feb when he played it in nyc... |

I'm on the fence about the wsw key change. It sounds a bit half-assed and recycled, but at the same time I feel it does a good job of putting energy into the last cycle in normal key. |
