What a fantastic night this was. So many friends, such good music - way too much fun...

What a fantastic musical evening:

Aren - great classic tunes. Tillman Urmacher was a wikkid, I thought I was the only one who would play that tune.. :)

Ortemy - not only do you look like Armin, but you play like him too.

tw1tch - it's nice to hear the DDTT in SystemS - what a treat! great job, as always a technician. Loved it (in stereo, stereo, stereo, stereo...) ;)

gamma - Holy SMOKES man!!! I walk into SystemS, the music is fantastic, within 20 minutes the front room is packed and people are going f'ing nuts! Absolutely flawless from start to finish, the music was banging, people were going off left right and center. You were in your element and did a fantastic job. Congratulations! Starting out with a set like this is one hell of a way to get noticed. Booyakasha!

Happy bday to Emery and Rob, thanks to Emery and John for arranging it all - FANTASTIC to see everybody.

10/10 rating for that night.

just a quick line to say that i had a really good time at system on friday, i really enjoyed hearing the TA talent in the front room... very impressive of course, and meeting everyone for the first time was a pleasure... cant wait to come up to TO again!!!

Wicked night! Met some new people, then for some reason didn't meet others. Next time. ;) All the djs rocked it.:D
Hope your bday was fun as hell Emz.:)

sorry guys for posting so late but my pc is still not fixed and am now doomed to using my dial up connection from my laptop!!! :whip:

i just wanted to say that i also had a really good time on friday. it was a nice breath of fresh air to be out again & to see many of you after 2 months of hybernation from the 'scene'.

it was great to hear Marge's story about how excited Ray was -including the agony of anticipation just hours before his debut! Ray, you really did a fantastic job with flawless mixing & programming despite the initial 'stage fright'. :) but you know who you're playing for and that everyone there was there for you!!

Thank you again for playing my Stars track for me -twice actually since i wasn't there when you played it the first time around! *sorry about that again, we should have been on time!!!

Ray = Rockstar #1! :D

It was also a pleasure seeing JZ again. Thank you for the gift again!! ;)
... as many of you probably don't know, i met James for the first time last summer at Sankeys Soap in Manchester, when i was visiting a friend of mine from Essex Uni, who also works there. This was at a time when hardly anyone knew of his name in N-America. That nite -and i don't think James actually knows this either-, i was pretending to be ARIA's international promoter (hehehe!!:disbelief) and asked him how he would feel if i got him booked at the scene's meccha where his mentor sasha has spun many times before. literally, his eyes and reaction where >>:eyes: :D :D. well...i came back to montreal after that summer and spread the word & the rest since then is history! ;)

James, i'm glad that you have come to feel so at home here in TO and Montreal, and thank you to you all who took their time to host him like the 'hip hoppa' that he is! :p

Gosh so I hear Liam brought JZ to the pre-meet up, wish I didn't have my car troubles, so I missed it :(, props to Liam for arranging it regardless!!!

P.S. JZ.... I hear your back ground is Polish, is that true?

Don't get me wrong - the front room DJs all were fantastic and made me dance my ass off (whoot whoot!), but the energy and damn-right crazy atmosphere when gamma spinned was insane.

I had such a wicked time Friday night as well! From the pre-meet with the TA's to partying it up at System. Ray!! I've been kicking myself in the nuts for missing your debut set in the front room... I'm so glad you had fun and started it off propah! When I got to System, Kevin was crankin' it and the place was packed too! Wicked job doood!! And Ortemy and Aren kept it all alive with their bangin' trance. All the TA DJs deserve a standing O!

As for the main room -- James, you did it once again. This set was awesome and I enjoyed every minute of it -- especially your teaser at the end with looping/triggering that vocal sample. Thanks for a night to remember.

And of course what would a great night like this be without all you cool TA's out there! It just would NOT be the same if I didn't know any of you! You guys always make it a great night!

Until I see y'all again... (or maybe my busy-ass should just try to post more :) )

that 'thank you' sample on the last track zabiela played was crazy. Love it!
