Finally more info about the REASON 3.0 :D

I think it will be amazing  Go to Propellerheads homepage to read :)
Mr.Mystery

the mclass looks great! but beside the combinator there's not really much more new in 3.0.. what did they do in the last months/years?
DJ_Ikronix
They want me to spend $130 on a compressor and a layer unit? :whip:

Dammit, they still didn't put NUMBERS or SAVABLE PATCHES on the compressor. I don't see any indication of the flanger sucking less ass either. :whip: :whip:

Think I'll stick with FL.

don't have too high hopes of finding Reason 3.0 in your Xmas stockings. At least not this year.

Those demos sound pretty nice. I've come to the conclusin that Reason isn't for me, but I remain baffled by the fact that they refuse to incorperate VST/AU/DirectX support.

It's not like it's liscensed technology :conf:

Actually, I once emailed them directly asking them why don't they support hardware synths. Their response: "You think it's necessary? But we don't."

Then I responded: Well if you guys don't care about having more sales, then I guess it's fine.... The fact is, a lot of people are not switching to Reason for it's lack of hardware synth/VST support..
Then I got a email thanking me and saying they would discuss it...

The fact is we STILL need hardware synths.. If processors ran at 10ghz, then I would understand their argument against hardware synths...
alanzo
Yeah, that's another thing, hardware support.

I would totally switch to Reason if it was a bit easier to use my JP with... it really wouldn't be hard for them to do.. all they need is to incorperate a MIDI out and something to record to wav files... like an imiation hard disk recorder (to stay with the rack-emulation theme it has)

Looks pretty cool! Not a reason user though \:D/

That MClass compressor thingy looks rather nifty! I wish they'd given us a new synth to play with though...
