Classics (pg. 2)

This sort of reaction is only natural when you throw around the word 'classic'.

If I may revise, everybody define your history of Trance limited to under 10 songs. They don't even have to be your favorites - just define the genre through music, as it should be defined.

Something like that? :D

Ayla - Ayla
Transa - Prophase
PPK - ResuRection
Max Graham - Airtight
DJ Tiesto - Theme From Norefjell (DJ Jan & Christophe Chantzis Mix)
Taste Experience - Summersault

Those are some of the songs I think of when I hear the the term 'trance classics' thrown around. :happy2:

Classic:
1. Old
2. Embodiment of a specific sound which no longer exists

Your classics--excepting maybe two or three--meet none of these, therefore they aren't classics.

Would it make you happy if i changed the title of the thread to "most popular trance tracks that got so massive that everyone heard it unless he/she were living under a rock"?

and more importantly, which is the whole point, would you then respond with a track or two? cus that would make ME happy

Why should we? There's a thread showing exactly what you want with many more tracks right alongside this one. HERE IT IS You can both find what you want from me (right..) there, because I already posted it on the last page.

the "trance tracks that are popular" and "trance Classic" title are completely different. With the names mentioned in this thread, the title shouldnt be trance classics.

PPK resurection is a well known trance track, certainly isnt a classic though! theres a huge difference between them

did u read my first post? Of course I saw this thread, but everyone is posting a huge list of tracks, for diff years, and in some cases, not even posting the correct name e.g. Pulser - Cloudwalking(Ferry Corsten Remix)

I wanted a track or two form people that they think is almost like THE trance track...something no one can deny was HUGE

No one can deny Xpander was huge or Flaming June or Seven Cities, which is what someone has already stated in this thread. But when u get huge lists, other names pop up that are questionable...i don't want that...i can 't say whether or not that won't happen as there are indeed various oppinions. And who's to say mine are correct? But maybe, just maybe, only the biggest names would be posted here in THIS thread, and we might agree on a handful of the biggest names in trance.

That was the chance I wanted to take here, but i guess we can't do it because OTHER similar (but diff) threads exist and people like you will get angry at people like me.

so, will someone like to add something? Or should we just call it a day
NiteMer
Veracocha - Carte Blanche
Gouryella - Gouryella

And you'd know Communication if you heard it. You'd probably know Strange World too. Exodus is a little more underground, but a great track nonetheless.

North Pole - Afterburn
Vimana - We Came
