I was replying to Eric's post in the same manner in which he started the thread in the first place, knowing Eric i doubt if he means anything he says in his post and it was posted as a 'pisstake' so my reply which i would have hoped was indicated by the use of the smilies was also a 'pisstake'.
Eric and i trade insults as often as most ppl eat hot meals.
Personally, i think Eric could be a valuble member of these forums if he could only not get so carried away or go over the top when he applys his sense of humour in some topics.
and so you do not need to assume in the future, i am 35, have all my hair althou got some grey ones starting to come thru, i am 5'11" tall, have all my own teeth :D i work as an installation manager for a company that installs sound systems and computer systems for the nightclub buisness. i am of average weight for my height (well a couple of pounds overweight maybe), i have 3 kids, the eldest of which is my daughter who turned 16 a few days ago, my 2nd daughter is 15 and my son is 8.
I dj in my spare time for online radio stations and for some clubs, i try not to be overbearing but i am not perfect and i rely on feedback from ppl like yourself to tell me where i am going wrong.
I am open to critique and will glady try to resolve any issues you may have with me so that we can get on better with each other.

Some of the kids I see on my walk up to Uni each day need a good spanking.....with a saucepan.

| I would get my ass destroyed if I was out of line. MY mom would venture as far as slapping me across the face and . And my grandma, she used this plant, i dunno what it's called here but it grows in abbundance in Russia/Ukraine and is called kropiva (maybe poison ivy). She would use this and it'd leave little welts all over, sons of bitches hurt for like 2 days. I learned my good! |

if u wer emy kid and u punched back and u were younger then 17. id give u a backbreaker.
i once got older and my father tried hitting me so i went toe to toe with him thinking i could take him. so i swung punch in his gut., man he in kicked my ass hard just for fighting back. i knew once i took that swing my life was over. so i made a break for it. as soon as i turned around i got the biggest punch to the back of the head. he picked me up and started strangling me and threw me into the wall. broke all the drywall. then two more punches and i was on the ground. and he wnet and finished his dinner. i got my ass whooped and im glad he did it. i was 17 or 18 at the time. man did he show me whos the boss. to thsi day i wont with him even tho now i know i could kick his ass no problem. i just have that respect now. but if he let me get away with that, i prolly would have pushed him around to this day. he showed me who was boss and now i wont ever swing back out of pure respect for him.
also he wouldnt hit me now. im a lil too old. but we still have our arguments and i let him have the last word just cause hes still my father and is entitles to it |

More people should get their kids into Martial Arts at a young age. As Eric said, good habits are formed very early in life - often times, the earlier the better. Children must be programmed, unlike adults, so that they might someday rise to be individuals - you can't raise a child as a delicate little individual (in the same way in which you would treat an adult) especially if you want them to become at least decent members of society. Wait for them to shed those bonds at a later age - at first, they must be taught the ways of civilization. Otherwise, the id will just walk all over people and a far more difficult learning experience will lie ahead of them.
I wouldn't recommend beating your children though - even spanking should be sparsely used as a disciplinary action. Over-indulgent parents are the problem - don't blame the kids for their apparent issues when it's the parents' fault. Didn't any of you see Willy Wonka? :happy2: |

I have to agree with spanking your kids, I've seen loads of kids here kick/hit/spit/swear at there parents and some go even crazier, and the parents do nothing except ignore/tell them to "be quiet"/buy them a toy.
Take control of your kids, I wasn't really hit as a kid, but becuase I knew I would get hit if I did something wrong, I was actually a well behaved kid when I was young (but not when they weren't around hehe). |
