My question is: where are the protests against the corrupt Lieberals???

Hear hear. There should be massive protests at Queens park every hour of their administration.

Did you guys know that McGuinty use to be a lawyer for the NDP. We have an NDP gov't disguised as Liberals.

2007 PC majority.

Hmmmmm.....Intresting....the the aplology might have been more effective on a USA board.....and yes I am American.

Bravo for standing up for what you believe in, I would have done the same being Anti-Bush. I understand that our country is not on our best behavior right now, and in case you forgot almost half the nation tried to change that. Please keep in mind that such comments and remarks hurt the Anti-bush supporters more then the bush supporters, it reminds us that we not only failed ourselves, but the world as well, we did have all of you in mind when we voted in November. We tried to change what is going on in the country here and have done the best we can with the options that are givin to us.

Just remember that we all don't like him or support him or agree with him, BUT WE are the ones that are going to have to livw with him for the next 4 years. So no matter how bad it seems to you guys it's even worse for us. Not only will we have the war to deal with, which I DO NOT support, women's rights are being taken away, education is being cut and we have an for a president.

I hope that's not directed to me....I am not now nor have I ever been a Bush supporter....I am mearly saying it's easy to say all you want about the situation....when you are not in it. You guys have the advantage of being able to be on the other side of the border...

Well dude I hope you weren't generalizing and not include protesters in the Ukraine OR Tianamin Square (several years ago) as well...I for one thank GOD that we have the right of PEACEFUL protest here in Canada so if you have "zero respect" for protesters then maybe you should move to North Korea or mainland China & you can "live in peace"...

Believe me, I take that into account. I know most of us don't hate Americans, just the government and that clueless leader.

Hopefully these four years will prove as a turning point, and that maybe the devistation will wake the non-voters up; anger has it's condusive side as well :D

Today President Bush was greeted with the utmost disrespect and rudeness in my city, thanks to a few choice dirtball street kids with picket signs. Although not everyone ( lets face it -- 99% ) don't agree with his policies/political views, it was incredibly rude for us to welcome the leader of another country like that.

I would like to apologise on behalf of Canadians who maintain some decency when welcoming leaders of respected nations. I hope when you crack open the newspaper tomorrow and read about the heads ( who incidentally show up at every G8 summit -- coincidence? ) that greeted him with middle fingers and burning picket signs with rude comments, that you don't generalize them with the rest of the honest, respectful Canadians.

We are not whiny bitches. Just the sad, unfortunate, lowlife s who have something to say about everything, and base their entire life on Michael Moore's films.

Please don't presume to know our feelings on the subject, because you're clearly wrong in your opinions. If you don't agree with peoples right to voice their opposition, there's a nice little vacancy waiting for you in Hicksville, Kentucky. :toothless

those failed policies and lies do not cause wars violence, death and destruction. How can you even compare the two?

At least in Canada you can protest within sight of the person you are protesting at...

During the campaign and throughout GDubya's first term...there were "areas" set up sometimes several miles away from the actual event where protesters were penned up, usually in fenced in areas....

Out of sight of the cameras of course....
