Meaning what exactly?

National debt always goes up when a country is engaged in a war. You really think he had the option not to spend that money after 9/11? That debt will go down in no time because the United States' GDP is high and American leaders actually PAY DOWN the debt.

Clinton didn't do jack for the American economy. You have to understand that economy lags policy - Clinton happened to be elected at a time when the American economy was doing well, but that was because of the people who were running the country *before* Clinton. It would be like saying McGuinty is doing well for Ontario's economy - well actually no, Mike Harris did all the dirty work, McGuinty is just enjoying the ride.

Do you live in Iraq? No. Canadians seem to love to propagate this mythology that Iraq is now in condition because of American involvement. Actually, Iraq is in better condition than ever before and I know actual Iraqis who have confirmed this. Iraqis had to live with SADDAM'S "bull policies" forced on them - Bush is hardly forcing anything on them except to stop blowing up.

Oh yes right - SOLELY responsible. Let's just conveniently ignore all the deaths that Bin Laden and Saddam are responsible for. Please try to learn the difference between murder and defense, and also take a good look at the headcounts of those that have died at Bush's hand compared with those that died at the hands of the people he has taken out of commission.

Oh and for a flip-flop.... bush flip-flopped on the war in Iraq over and over again.... do your research and watch the debates from this past election and it is right there on tape!!!!!

I've done my research - the question is, have you? You'll have to come up with a little more evidence than "it is right there on tape" - which tape? At what point on it? Can you be a little more specific here?

And to think you say that "everyone" considered Kerry the lesser of two evils - obviously over 50% of the country did not, seeing as how he won the senate vote AND the popular vote. It's the same as always though - you just disregard those people as though they are somehow beneath you and not worthy of mention. No INTELLIGENT person would ever vote for Bush, right?

The people have spoken - face the ing facts and move on with your life.

Canadians protesting the American president when they can't even run their own country - laughable.

When your country's policies don't have such an adverse effect on the world then maybe you will have a point. But since US foreign policy affects practically everyone on the globe we have just as much business in your business as you do.

Would I like outsiders trying to change my country? NO WAY! But at the same time, my country's policies don't have a huge impact on other people's lives other than our own. And i personally like it that way.

PS: I dont like the current Canadian government either but that doesnt make me anti-canadian. Think about it.

spoken like a true pacifist. just kidding. seriously though when a country is in dire need who do they go to? the norwegians? the russians? nope those stupid yankees. and how many economies has our government literally rebuilt? i can think of PLENTY. japan, france, germany, vietnam, north korea and israel just to name a few. so you might think that we SHOULD have some say in the economic scheme of things. america makes up 5% of the population yet we produce 30% of the global market. one last thing and just so you know i think the world of canada. you have the most beautiful country. but who's nuclear umbrella do you live under? you see i have a feeling that if canada owned alaska we'd all be a part of the USSR.

Actually Goerge Bush Jr. is the ONLY President during "wartime" that is giving tax cuts which is the LAST thing you do...Absolutely the DUMBEST thing you do...No other President in the past has done that during a war.

As for the graph, well I have eyes & it seems to me that CLinton was paying down the debt while Bush is bankrupting the U.S. now that he's invaded a country that had NOTHING to do with those planes flying into the World Trade Center

You DO have a lot of say in the world. The point is that because this is the case, by extention we have a right to critisize your government due to that influence over the world. You are the ones that self designated as the world's cops and one of the results is that your actions are more closely scrutinized.
