I met Tiesto!!

Tonight I met Tiesto!!!
I was at Boa when Margaret came up to me and said what I heard as "Eso is here, he's in the back". So I walked up to the back of the club and looked around, all around - and couldn't see Eso.
So I said to Margaret "Eso is here? As in Peter Eso?". She laughed at me and said "no, not Eso - TIESTO!".
So I turned around, and there he was shootin' the breeze with someone. Tiesto was at the party - not to play - but just to have fun!
I walked up beside Tiesto and waited until he was done and then introduced myself and shook his hand.
We ended up chatting for 3 or 4 minutes about his upcoming gig, the gig @ docks in 2003, his love for Toronto, Tiesto in Concert 2, the magic trick @ TiC2 (how he did it, and how i would have messed up badly if it involved me, etc).
LISTEN UP: Tiesto is an awesome doode! Completely relaxed, friendly, unrushed, genuine, welcoming, open, warm - just fantastic! A total gentleman.
Tiesto and I talked for a bit, no uneasyness or anything at all. Tiesto was super-cool and polite. Not often one gets to meet a DJ at a party where they aren't even playing - let alone Tiesto!

Thats n awesome man! Wow, whut a cool chance encounter! Esp. at a club where he wasnt playing, thats so good to see, him being there just fun and not bc he was playing!

| Wow, congrats RJ! He must be in town this whole week prior to his show here, maybe he's on a bit of a vacation beforehand? I can't find a list of his gigs anywhere on his site, it seems poorly designed. Too flashy and counter-intuitive. |
