well that dosen't take away the fact that they destroyed one of my favorite tracks by Led. I dont care if the whole band approved and Tom Morello helped on guitars. I think P Diddys remix of it blows and thats all there is to it. P diddy. |

i never really liked diddy's songs anyway .. pre-diddy, present-diddy, or post-diddy ..
and i never really liked diddy's 'let's get ill' .. i kinda liked the deep dish dub, but the original . no .. that song was stupid and meaningless .. he tried to go house, and it didn't work for him .. i saw him perform that song live in miami, and he looked like a blithering idiot trying to excite a zombied-out crowd (zombied because diddy was on stage of course) ..
someone needs to go break his legs .. damn it... |

Oh, Oakenfold is a wannabe moneymaker. Not a wannabe moneymaker...he's always had a keen busniess sense. He took advantage of the connections he gained by signing Salt & Pepa and being in Ibiza with Danny Rampling in 1987. With that he used his connections to become what he is today. I wouldn't associate Oakenfold with Trance either because he took advantage of that as well. If you're going to credit Oakey with anything make it participation in the late 80's British Acid House movement. |

Self made man- from sleeping on his mates floor with not a penny to his name to multi millionaire in literally a couple of years, not to mention soime of the people whos careers he started when he was an A&R guy.

The difference between the sampling in trance tunes and the sampling in hip hop stuff- is they tend to do it very very well and actually do something different musically with it, rather than sticking some rehash or very obvious/well known sample over the same ing 909 beat and supersaw preset thats been done to death.Wannabe producers could learn a hell of a lot from how he mixes and engineers his tracks- as well as a lot of urban tunes
Once again- narrow minded tards on here showing their sheer arrogance and inability to recognise other forms of talent and entertainment. :rolleyes:
