I was thinking realistically. But as for my example, it wasn't meant to be taken literally. If P. Diddy did break into EDM, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't change the attitudes or style of any of the DJs.
I was just expanding on what the other people in this thread said about him bringing an unusual stigma that the dance world doesn't necessarily want. |

| I wouldn't have a problem if he somehow brought EDM into more of a mainstream position. Especially here in North America, where few people in the general public know what EDM is. I think the more exposure, the better. Fears of over exposure and the comprimising of of the music are not needed because there will always be producers and dj's throwing down quality stuff. |
