I fail to see how your (claimed) superior gross income equates to being more qualified to accurately assess the cause of a building's structural failure then an engineer. I earn more money then an auto mechanic; however, I cannot rebuild a transmission. I'm going to put this very bluntly for you: you do not know what you're talking about, CC does. If we ever have a question regarding the logistics of shipping beef to Barbados we'll defer to you; however, when it comes to physics I think we're probably best to go with the engineer's learned opinion. |
all class my friend! :stongue: |

you guys are entertaining.
Importing food, not just one type I might add while supplying large companies such as resorts which have over 1000 rooms each does make a lot of money.
Unless of course you failed math, which in this case it sounds like you all did.
And I do not need a permit for beef, I do not import it. |

Fidel Castro says U.S. fooled world over 9/11
HAVANA (Reuters) - Ailing Cuban leader Fidel Castro said the U.S. government misinformed Americans and the world about 9/11, echoing conspiracy theories about the terror attacks against the United States six years ago.
In an essay read by a Cuban television presenter on Tuesday night, Castro said the Pentagon was hit by a rocket, not a plane, because no traces were found of its passengers.
"Today one knows there was deliberate misinformation," wrote Castro, who has not appeared in public since July of 2006 when life-threatening surgery for a secret illness forced him to hand over power to his brother Raul Castro.
"Studying the impact of planes, similar to those that hit the Twin Towers, that had accidentally fallen on densely populated cities, one concludes that it was not a plane that crashed into the Pentagon," Castro said.
"Only a projectile could have caused the geometrically round hole that allegedly was made by the plane," he said.
"We were fooled like the rest of the planet's inhabitants," he wrote.
Castro said the truth behind the September 11 attacks with hijacked planes that killed nearly 3,000 people will probably never be known.
Castro's 4,256-word essay made no mention of Osama bin Laden and his militant Islamist al Qaeda network behind the attacks on New York's World Trade Center and Washington.
Castro, who was the target of CIA assassination plots after his 1959 revolution, said Cuba tipped off U.S. security services in 1984 about a plan to kill then President Ronald Reagan while he campaigned for re-election in North Carolina.
The information provided by Cuba led to the arrest of a group of would-be assassins and foiled the plot, he wrote.

That may be true, I don't doubt you; however, please advise how exactly your income makes you qualified to speak on the subject. It seems to me that you are attempting to use economic resources as a substitute for intellegence. While substituting money for skill or knowledge may work in some areas (such as plumbing - you don't need to know how to install a water heater if you have enough money to pay someone else to do it for you) it cannot help you in an intellectual discussion... unless you're going to hire someone of reasonable intellegence to debate the issue on your behalf, as you are clearly ill-equiped. I'm afraid, my friend, that in a battle of wits you are severly out-gunned. |

If I was out battled by wits then why not can either PKC or colonel not convince us otherwise? They have restated over and over again what we where already told about the attacks while taking stabs at other members here. Go back and read their posts you will find a very few common variables which stand out a little obvious.
I stated what I do because I was asked a few posts back, because I generate a certain amount of income it does not substitute for my intelligence. My intelligence was always there and I do not need you to tell me otherwise, especially on a message board, lol.
Ignorance seems to be high on list around here, if PKC and colonel believe architects are not bright people and they are trying to tell us that 9/11 was carried out by re-hashing the same old they will lose on the issue outright. Lately they have managed to do themselves in even worse if you look on the numbers in the poll thread, shows how convincing they really are given all of their "credentials".
The only ones out-gunned are the minority who still believe in that fairy tale story of Osama and the 19 hijackers. |

are you kidding me? your idea of sound scientific reasoning equates to a popularity contest.... in your model, newton probably convinced everyone that gravity existed by beating all the dorks in the world at dungeons and dragons....
please tell me you are intelligent enough to understand that an internet poll means nothing.....
the fact that you have quoted internet poll results at least twice now leads me to belive that you are a halfwit. |

i have said nothing of the sort. what i did say was that architects are qualified to draw pictures of buildings like the WTCs, but not qualified to provide accurate and scientifically sound explanations for the collapses. that isn't my opinion, its simple fact.

i remain unconvinced, there is a distinct lack of evidence to support this argument.

i stand corrected.... ill make up an internet poll to create some data to prove my case......

recent quantitative analyisis of this statistically relevant data shows that IQ scores rivaling numerical equivalence to american minimum hourly wage was a factor in the posting of numerous internet poll results................... |
