May I draw an analogy.
I enjoy drinking wine. And I enjoy drinking wine with those who appreciate it. But I avoid sharing wine with those who's primary purpose is not to enjoy but to find its flaws. But when the failing are obvious its important to point them out.
That being said I think both Woody's and kittycrushes observations were both valid. The first hour plus it seemed Tiesto was having a great time, but with the people in the booth and not the rest of the club. I am not nearly as focused on the technical aspects of DJing as many here. Its just not my objective. I go for the music and the vibe. And the vibe in the club was created because Tiesto was there not because what he was directly doing. Tiesto didn't put the effort in Wednesday evening to catapult it to another level. Thats what I expect the best to do.
As the night progressed he did have his highs. Lets just say I was expecting more of them.
I still enjoyed myself and would be back tonight if I could. Average Tiesto is still better that most. And a vibe was still present. It's always great to go out amongst friends. Always warm to see all the TA's who take the time to make the trek down here. Your presense always takes it up a notch. See you all soon. |

cost of ticket= $35
Drinks that were free=2 (cost would have been near $20)
$35-$20= $15 i paid for the ticket.
getting the ticket i paid $15 for signed!= A ING AWESOME NITE! |

Dude relax... I will try to ID it as soon as I get a hear it again! And yes, for your information Mauro and Tiesto have done many tracks together! And yes, Tiesto has played Mauro tracks in the past!

I'd easily say there was a 1000 people there... the club is so small but the place was SO crowded.. could hardly move. |

Most likely the club will not break even, like was said before, the fact of bringing a big name DJ will help the club in the long run. |

I've heard Tiesto live at least 12 times in the past 3 years. This was by far his worst set. I was so disappointed. He had no flow - his track selection, except for those few mentioned, seemed haphazardly put together. He seemed careless with the crowd.
This does not in any way diminish his skills, his reputation, or his unmatched ability to draw huge crowds. I was just hoping for more from this particular night. I know he will restore my faith come New Years. |

Yes, there is picts of Des dancing and in normal clothes. I also took picts of her on Sat when we went to see Sasha! Awesome girl I tell you! Down to earth! I love that girl (as a really good friend)!
