Hey, I'm coming down to Minneapolis this friday for Canada's long weekend (it's a week before yours) and I was wondering what clubs are good there on fridays and saturdays?
There's a group of us coming down and we're all into electronic music, but I don't wanna end up in a club with a bunch of dirty candy ravers...:rolleyes:
Anyhooters.... Hope someone can help me out!!!

Myth Night club in St. Paul is actually a very nice venue here in the Twin Cities. If you like Tiesto, he'll be spinning there next tuesday. Also, if you're staying through June 3rd you can catch the Crystal Method playing there as well.
Even though we're not the biggest City in the upper mid-west, I think you'll be pleasently suprised by the night life this city has to offer.

I like his ISOS, but that's about it... Plus, I'll be leaving monday night anyways... Where is this club Myth? Is it good on fridays, or saturdays? And what kind of music is it? Lol...21 questions....
Oh, and pretty much everywhere is bigger and better than Winnipeg!!!
Our electronic music scene is sooooo small! We only have 1 club that plays "rave music" and it's a gay club. They spin mostly techno, old stuff.... Alot of Benny Benassi..Ugh....lol:rolleyes: and the occasional "it's raining men"

Fridays and Saturdays are usually dance nights. Although, no big names will be there those nights. It'll be more of a club atmosphere then a show atmosphere. |

your best bet for regular events is karma. other clubs are reeeeeeally hit and miss imo and the big djs are few and far between. |

| Tiesto tore up a packed Myth last night, wow. Incredible show for a Tuesday. Not much else to say, one of the best shows I've ever seen. My level of respect for Tiesto went way up after last night. Anyone else go? |

yea man, last night was amazing. my expectations werent incredibly high, but his mixing was really impressive and he played a pretty bangin set. it was good to see him having fun behind the decks too.
and drinking cristal with tiesto & co. before his set FTW :D |

| I made it around 10:30 Last night, so I was able to see part of Jack Trash's set. I was impressed by the musical selection and overall mixing. Tiesto, also was (suprisingly) good. Really good show. |
