Omer: I'd love to add more, but I don't want to overdo... Complexity doesn't always do the trick (look at my remix of 'The Story Teller' - some people didn't like it because of its complexity). Maybe I should bring some elements I've added more to the foreground - will think about it.
Massive: thanks mate! No midi available yet, will make one as soon as I can :) |

simply banging tune man. sounds great.
are you still using fruity?? if so i heart you.
the only thing i can try to complain about is that the piano in the break sounds out of tune. the more i listen to it the worse it gets. if you're using FLkeys/mdaPiano i have that same problem a lot in those range of notes for some reason.
sounds great tho. keep up the great work. |

| I begin to be mow by the sound of the uplifting trance actually but yours is full of emotion and smooth in the construction, keep it up mate ! :) |

I think the track is still a little too boring. Everything fits real well and it sounds like a proper trance production, but the melody just doesn't have that 'goosebumps' feeling. no climax!
Listening to the overall track I don't doubt your producing skills and you could probably fix this if you wanted too.
Love your use of sounds and the build-up, but if you ask me... you could pay a little more attention to the main melody :)

tylerc: still FL man, nothing more (besides vst's of course). The piano isn't an mda or FLKeys, it's made with the Sampletank sampler. Doesn't sound bad to me though?
d-muirge: thanks alot! I appreciate it ;)
dondz: glad to be of help, feel free to email me at [email protected]. I'm not on msn to regularly at the moment...
NoisyNeil: the main lead is often my main focus, except for my latest ones, which I try to focus more on overall sound and progression (I noticed this is the overall impression of trance atm). Sorry to have caught you at the wrong time :)
David: I'm afraid I can't give it away just yet, will do when I can ;)
Cheers all!

Thats true, but then 'those releases' have other things in their productions like effects and powerfull basslines that get you through the track with ease.
It's just that I feel something is missing in this one, ...
But hey, it's your production, if you don't feel that the same way then you may not understand me here :) |

| Wim, I'm the same way man. I've always been about the overall sound and harmony of all the synths working together rather than the lead hook, glad to know i'm not crazy:) Seems like every label is looking for a hook. |

Lucas: cheers mate, I'll try to get that one finished asap!
NoisyNeil: I thought the bassline in this tune was pretty powerful, no? Anwayz, I'm open to any suggestions, it'll help me get inspiration for perhaps other tracks :) 'Something missing' is just a tad vague to work on...
SoM: I hear ya. Guess that's the way it goes nowadays. So many trance around and so many piracy - labels want the cream of the cream, which is reasonably understandable. Too bad they often forget to give people a chance... |

I'll have a few listens to it and next time explain to you what I really miss, cause you're right, ... something missing is kinda vague! |
