hey what up ppl. i started this alliance to see how many of us tas love vinyl. i first mentioned it half jokingly on the music discussion forum and got 2ppl in it so far.. Erik[NiteMer] and uh.. forget the other guy's username..he had a MIKE alliance sig... sorry man. :confused: but anyway, if youre interested, please join ! there are 2 rules :
1. Wether you are a dj or not, You must own at least 200 vinyls in your collection.
2. If youre a DJ, you must use mainly vinyls in your sets. ie. 80% vinyls/20% CD/everything else.

| is 200 really that much vinyl? i mean...i know TA's that have over 10,000...those are the real vinyl junkies...most people that dj here are gonna have over 200... |

| I think 200 is fair. It shows that someone actively seeks out vinyl. Exceptions would be made for someone that has collected ultra-rare vinyl as well. If you have 100 records, but they are classics, I think it makes you a vinyl junkie. |

im all about vinyl, but i have no money to buy any and i've only been buying for a month or two... im only at 24 :( |

| I think it's only fair that if you call yourself a vinyl junkie, you should post up links to your collection in your sigs. That way we can be the judges! Heheh. |

| what about several crates full and more on the floor because i haven't got another crate? plus i hit my record store every week for new vinyl...now thats addiction |

I don't have two days to sort through all of my vinyl and right down the names. Could you imagine? I think I have to resort my vinyl again, at some point, but I really don't want to. |
