I'm with trunks on this one. How can all asian drivers possibly be bad? or young women drivers at that?

anyway my picks are cell phone users and gangster types (here in japan anyway) - not necessarily unskilled drivers just bad cos they're selfish.

Heh - it was just a dumb comment meant to be sardonically funny - that's just how it goes sometimes. ;)

Of course it's not totally true though - satire wouldn't be funny if it were all truth or no truth. Perhaps it stems from western influences regarding the mass immigration of Asians to western areas of the United states (California) and the proclivity for foreign drivers to be daunted by 14-lane highways in Los Angeles? :conf:

You guess is probably as good as mine. However, I do remember a single day in LA where I saw at least 3 people driving with their blinker on for over 5 minutes at a time, obviously unbeknownst to the driver. :p Those drivers just happened to be asian, but what does it really matter? One cannot prove the correlation either way, so it's not worth worrying about.

on mexico's freeways, if u want to make a left turn, u have to pull into the shoulder on the right, stop, observe traffic both ways, and make the turn

In response to the insane stupidity posted in this thread I write

The only time I/or anyone else in my family for that matter, drives poorly is when I play Grand Theft Auto

Yeah, thats nothing serious. The same thing happens in Melbourne's Central Business District (CBD). Because of the trams, you have to be in the left lane to turn right. In Melbourne its called a hook turn.

I might not have a driving licence but that doesn't mean I can't rant. Boy racer types really annoy me - the customised cars with proportionally huge exhausts, the speed, the attitude, swerving all over the road for no reason and so on. Piss off!

lol... beat me to it!

To add to that rant, if they're second in line when traffic starts pulling away from the lights, they'll speed off as quick as they can, get to 20 miles an hour then slam on the brakes to stop from crashing to the person at the front. Why?

.................pricks.
