The Worst Drivers on the Road: Who are they?

United Nations convention 24C Subsection 345 states that the ban on sexist and racist comments does not apply to sporting events and describing bad drivers. So who am I to argue?
My 2 worst drivers:
Asian drivers. I'm not sure why the superior ability with mathematics and the ability to run a business at twice the profit levels of a similar Australian operator does not transfer into skill levels behind the wheel, but it just does.
Anybody that has taken a trip to somewhere in Asia has seen that they are complete maniacs, and stupid acts behind the wheel include having a 3 lane motorway but having 5 lanes of cars, standing flat on the accelerator and flat on the brakes alternatively with one second intervals, and scooters with 5 passengers.
Somehow this confidence and craziness among Asian drivers is not carried over onto Australian roads and this is somehow exchanged for timid, nervous drivers that stop in the middle of a busy city street for 5 minutes because they are confused, indicate 5km before their turnoff and nearly cause 12 accidents when changing lanes at one tenth the going speed and sometimes driving in the middle of two lanes because, well, I can't work it out.
Next, Young Female Drivers. Lets just start off by saying that waving your hand and blowing kisses does not give one the right to change 4 lanes in peakhour whilst sending a text message and changing radio stations 12 times every 5 seconds. And secondly, reverse parking is an acceptable way for city councils to design and manage their parking spaces. And after 12 attempts one should consider a parking station.
And just because when you were on your learner permit and under the instruction of a driving school boys beeped the horn, made rude gestures and generally tried to make fun and distract you that does nto give one the right to pay back society by driving too slow, braking too fast or thinking that there are actually no other cars on the road. Also, simply putting the yellow flashy indicator light on does not mean that 3 seconds later it is now safe to move into the next lane.
Your picks for bad drivers? |

I'm normally a very patient person. I wait my turn, I stand in line, I tell people "no problem, I'll just go wait over there". Hell, sometimes I even let people skip ahead of me in line if I can tell they're in a hurry because odds are - I just don't really care about whatever I'm in line to attend in the first place. That being said, old people are some of the worst drivers in the world. Anyone over the age of 80 should be banned from behind the wheel just as anyone under the age of 16 is. I live in South Florida. so not only do we have to put up with the elderly, but we have to put up with the idiotic drivers from the north (New York, Michigan, Canada) at certain points during the year. ALL year long though, Florida will be a sort of gateway between life and death for most geriatric citizens of the United States. Many times I have been slowed on a major road near my house (2-lane) because, I you not, an old woman, who cannot even SEE over the steering wheel of her vintage, baby-blue Cadillac is slowly puttsing along at an unhealthy 25mph in a 60mph zone. This is inexcusable. |

I hope this isn't the same all over Canada, but here in Calgary its insane, so many things done wrong or not done on the road, its unreal, when I have been to Florida I've seen similar driving. |

What's worse are the extraneous variables that come with being in the southern US. More than a few times, I've seen groups of yokels on 4-wheelers happily cutting through traffic. It's something I like to call 'the Redneck factor'. :wtf: |

definitley mustang drivers...(not all of course)...but majority of the "macho men" who drive mustangs...are drivers. what can i say.
another would be women. i know im a girl but at least i know what "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT!" means... and so forth. i actually consider myself a good driver.. or at least confident in what im doing without causing any difficulty for other drivers. |
