Not really true. If this was the case people wouldn't be writing reviews.

But yea, this track is ing awful. Always has been, always will be. The Nick Sentience Mix is decent though.

like this tune a lot.

sort of percussive trance. which is probly cos they spend most of their time in the video hitting drums :) I'm sure someone could do a remix that would sound right in a K90 set.

nick sentience also did a remix, but sounds more 'halliwell'

Sure enough, it's not as straightforward as that... but one shouldn't base his own opinions on the opinions of others.

lol dude stop trying to turn this around,

bye bye now :)

i quite like it

id kinda class it as euro trance or something like that because of the bongo drums and . gives it a european feel. the stabby detuned saws backs up my point.

Not to be forgotten, this track has actually a fantastic rift and some really gd synths. (I'm kind of classifying this particular track as a trancer.)

To be precise, what kind of genre does "Played-A-Live" belongs to?

And relating to this, what genre does Safriduo's music belongs to?

I like this track too, I could classify it like trance too, it has energy and euphoria that lacks in most new trance stuff...
but sincerely i dont know what genre safriduo could be... maybe "club"...

I like the Baya Baya song too, the future breeze mix.
;)

I quite like it, especially the buildup

Like this a lot during my earlier days. Was actually a very unique tune with the 'live' percussions in this song.

I believe i heard safri duo - samb-adagio (airscape rmx) in a live set before. That's my fav. among all the safri duo tracks.

Nostalgia, your name suits your post

as for the track... meh... always hated it, and man was it overplayed at the clubs i'd go to. To a lot of people 'Played-a-live' was the gateway track to the whole electronic genre.

Jeez...you're 13? wow.

Anyways...i consider it cheese because it incorporates all of the mainstream elements in an electronica song and puts them together. The synth, the build-up, the overall format...and then all it does is add a couple of bongos and boom!

This is the time I was first starting to get into electronica, and yet being an unexperienced listener, I still got bored with it after a couple of listens.

Terrible song.
