OMG
I could leave it there but of course i wont..just let me pick up my eye balls and get this review underway!Rocked up at bout 2...waited in line patiently for an hour then got in on time to see the nature boy Steve Strangis in the trancedayze arena..and didnt he whip it good :)

HAd a stroll around..saw the usual munted heads, poots, tanks...and the rest.

Caught the last hour of the Deluxe and Emerson set.. did they have the crowd rocking!!They played many classics along with the crowd favourites.Although they were drunk and mixing
wasnt spot on..i was luvn it.

The time had come and after pushing through to get right in front of Armin along the barrier..the man appeared and started of with a classic!! how fitting!! And he knew we knew the lyrics :P Besides my glasses falling and breaking i think we had the best spot in the joint :D

Here is a tracklist i compiled:

*U2 - New Years Day (Ferry Corsten Remix)
*Gabriel & Dresden - Arcadia
*Motorcycle - Fade Away [Gabriel & Dresden feat. Jes Brieden = Motorcycle :)]
*Reflekt feat Delline Bass - Need To Be Loved (The Thrillseekers Remix)
*En-Mass - CQ (Seek You)
*Armin Van Buuren - Communication part 3
*Ridgewalkers feat. El - Find (Kyau Vs. Albert Remix)
*Marco V - Automanual
*Katana - Fancy Fair 2004
*Remy & Roland Klinkenberg- Till Ya Drop!
*Young Parisians feat. Ben Lost - Jump The Next Train (Kyau Vs. Albert Remix)
*Marcos - For A Day
*DJ Tiësto vs. Armin Van Buuren - Yet Another Day vs. Suburban Train (Bootleg)
*Carte Blanche - Carte Blanche (?unknown new remix?)
*Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit (BK Bootleg)

There were about 2 songs i missed out on. Armin was recently quoted saying "I'll start to road test my new tunes for the first time in Australia" which could mean these 2 tracks were some of his new works which will be on his new album due out next year. I know for certain one of them was one of his new tracks.

This was pretty much everything. What an amazing set. He didnt have the 6 hours like early in 2004 so he had to bring the enrgy form the word go...and oh did he!! Cant choose a fav track they are all
mint whether it be proggy..uplifting or tech-trance.In the end i got my armada slipmats, armada tshirt and a few records signed by Armin
along with heaps of good pics and even one with his misses Erica ;)
Recovery was cool..saw Pana grace the main stage then stevie again..after that ferris jumped on and gave me a headache..so we were off for the 2nd recovery leg which was mixing it up for 7hrs :)

What did use think??

anyone have any pics?

i had a in ball, and armin's set was enough to kick me out of my recent house phase. sometimes armin looks heaps like ferry when he's mixing.. probably a little something to do with their nationality. didn't see you there though pointy :sadgreen:

Pleeease be true!!! Melbourne's trance scene needs you!! House is cool and all but that's all it is - a phase (for champagne swillers), whereas trance is a way of life: breakfast, lunch, and tea ;)

*cueing uproar from house loyals*

First of all.. John course was and more .. SO many people left around me during his set.. He played 3 songs that had already been played 3 times before. I would have preffered to watch midro for 6 hours than an hour of john course..and i dont hate house music either..

He played that fricken Blur song Remix and that ing drop the pressure song.. Which emerson and has drunk partner had played only 3 hours before..

ON to happier Note armin you are the best Dj in the world.. You set left me blown away and all i wanted was more.. you never ever let me down. I needed another 3 hours of you playing again.. I cant even say anything more.. Maybe just a little progy/even housy at the start but hey i loved it.. All my mates who are big house heads loved armin.. He is the ign man..

To DJ B well done yet again for sneaking backstage and talking to armin for ages.. Some Great photos to come..

Until next year.. lets hope we get some more quality trance.. Trance at summadayze on the main stage is ign amazing..

And to the s that started the rumour about armin playing at the after party.. You cost me alot of money in cabs and upset me dearly...
