i think you're kinda mixing up the 2 girls but i get what you're sayin... everything apart from "she was probably really nervous cause" seems as though it fits the girl that I really liked a month ago perfectly... altho I don't think she was ever nervous

the nervous one (emily) was nervous apparantly just cause she liked me so much, and I spose we all get nervous at first around people you have feelings for cuz you don't wanna lose a chance

I think that's pretty obvious to her - I was strongly flirting with her mate right in front of Emily, so a pretty big hint

the issue at the moment is how to get steph's number off emily who's witholding it, and whether to come clean with emily about victor - making it probably easier for me but dumping my mate right in it...

why dont you just email steph? you dont have to send her a sappy love letter or anything. just send something like this:

steph,
i liked talking to you at the party. give me a call sometime.
-your name
xxx-xxx-xxxx

but emily doesnt know, you know she likes you? So shes mightnt take the hint that you chatting up her mate was you dropping a hint.

butterfly, if he had her email, this post wouldnt be up!

i am confused now... which girl were you talking about when you wrote this?
goonerjack
ah right, i was talking about Emily - I thought igottaknow was implying to send teh letter to emily to sort out the situation there...

my other mates are thinking i should just come clean with Emily - it'll all come out anyway at some point so it might be best for her to hear it from me...

i dunno, it might be best to let her work out her issues herself. of course if you really do care about her it's different.

Right, she (emily) doesn't know that I know she likes me

Personally I couldn't see how chatting up someone could be a hint to the girl that i'm not chatting to that i like her... although i've never been too good with hints

i've never really been that good friends with emily, but that doesn't mean i don't care for how she's feeling - i don't wanna see a nice girl crying...

the other thing is that i'd prefer to get steph's number sooner than later - don't want it to seem like i'm not interested in her after all

can you look her up in the phone book?
you could just keep pestering emily to give it to you. i mean, in the end if she doesnt give it to you it is really childish of her.
