No, do not do that. I will have the post deleted if you do. TA does not advocate warez.

it is free just go to the plugin's site search a bit and youll find it. there is a FREE serial and they tell you to use this but if you make money making music with it buy the full version which is 10-15$ if i remember correctly

It does appear I just accidentally deleted the public share folder on my server. Oops.

I'll put the pics back up this weekend or so.

I have a large collection of freeware VSTis with my Logic, and I must say, 3/4 of those freeware synths were already in my collection, and the fourth one is on its way :D

I agree about GreenOak Crystal. Marvelous for ambient sounds and some types of bells. It's one of the best and most complex freebs there is.

Triangle II - I haven't used that for much more than basslines, but it's quite a potent little VSTi ;) Actually, I almost blew out my speakers with it once :haha: Triangle I is good for sequences if you are patient enough to take the time to transcribe the sequence manually. Otherwise, get a proper sequencer, there are tons out there - Motion, Snip (which, much to my disdain had ZERO presets), Energy (kinda low-scale, but even that can be made to sound good :D), and so forth.

Synth1 VST - I got no presets for this, but after mucking about with it for awhile, I created a couple of pretty good sounds with it. :)

Superwave P8 - sweet :D I like how they tip the hat to Jean-Michel Jarre with this one, and I actually like using the Jarresque sounds in my symphonic electronica. One caveat of this and the Synth1 - they don't co-operate with each other :eyes: I've crashed Logic almost immediately every single time I tried using the two together. Which sucks, because they both kick ass! :D

IK Multimedia also puts out some sick VSTis - even the free versions are really good. Of course, I'm broke (and really lucky that I have such generous friends :D) so I stick to the freebies, and I got the free versions of SampleTank and Sonik Synth... Sonik Synth is AWESOME.

If ever I need an ambient background, I'll go with the Sun Ra... pretty good stuff there.

(And I've got a whole bunch of other stuff that I know doesn't quite belong on the list.)

One last thing - who was it that said Emagic had been sold to Apple? Because I agree, whoever did the deal should be slapped. Or kicked in the head. By me.:whip:
