Are you sure the one labled "ES2-Soundset" is v-station, if so which preset bank is that?

sadly, many commercial plugs arent made for us mac users....everything by rgc audio sticks out in this case.
Listing platforms is probably worthwhile if you're trying to make a definitive list.
I tend to think the Virus PoCo shouldn't be on the list, since the plug-in is merely a front-end for a hardware DSP synthesizer. If Virus Poco is on the list, the Virus TI must be also, as well as nord modular and G2.
And, since assuming few people on this board pay for their software anyway, why not throw in some top notch effects that I know none of you have paid for, like the Waves packages. (Not trying to be confrontational, just observational...I use the TC Powercore platform and Logic (both uncrackable) so all my HiQ effects are paid for by definition, so I've a clean conscience :) )
Along that train of thought, there are some worthwhile free FX that could be listed as well, i.e. the best free reverb, best free compressor, and so on. Maybe extend it further, and mention the best commercial VST reverb, EQ and compressor (Sony Oxford anyone? Oh wait, fails my Virus guidelines). If this is the ultimate guide for the best tools for trance production, these are must haves. |
If you wanted to you could have a second had PC to run the PC proprietary plugins.
Rig your mac up to the PC using standalone MIDI cable for your MAC to send MIDI data to the PC (treating the PC like a hardware synth) and sending the s/PDIF out on the PC to the S/PDIF in on the MAC, then you could have the best of both worlds |

| I have a few synths but they always sound weak was wondering which soft synths I can buy that come close to sounding like a virus or a jp8000 ,basically a soft synth that sounds like hardware very warm sounding. |

No synth is going to sound exactly like another synth...
If you want some VSTs that sound good right "out of the box," you might want to try Zeta+ and impOSCar. |

Nexus and massive
Vanguard is good if you can tweak good enough to get away from its known 'metallic' sound. |

Sure it's been mentioned before, but Sylenth is top-notch.
Modulation routings are limited, but the sound quality, you can achieve out of the box more than makes up for it. |
