Drugland
9:00pm - 10:00pm, BBC2, Parts 1/3
This three-part investigation into the drug industry sounds - from the publicity material, at least - like a shocking insight into who takes class A drugs and how they get hold of them. This first film concentrates on London (tomorrow's visits an estate in Greater Manchester to see how crack and heroin have permeated life there, while Thursday's gives a glimpse into the dark side of Ibiza, a multimillion-pound paradise for dealers).
Could be an interesting Documentary. |

thanks for the heads up.
This could indeed be quite interesting.
Wonder how much (if at all) they will focus on clubbers. |

curious to see how sensationalist it is in dealing with ecstacy.

i reckon it will be a good set of documentaries.
Matter of the fact is, despite all this anti-drug hoohar, and all these anti drug groups and campaigns, drug use has been steadily increasing, especially cocaine. So much so, is that i would say that it is close to being socially acceptable.
Ecstasy has had stigma of being a drug that can kill you in one hit  but there has been no such thing for cocaine apart from the fact it is "addictive". |

Is the drug dealer recruitment centre putting out adverts? Cos this was one of them :stongue:
I found it quite interesting really, although there wasn't really any new material really. I suppose to members of the general public it is just telling them how it is really. DRUGS ARE EVERYWHERE...and you can't hide ;)
The Daily Mail is going to have a field day over this lol |

i watched the first 20-30 mins or so. its coincidence really that most of my closest friends have recently started taking coke on a weekly, and now daily basis. i dont agree with it, but i still dont want to lecture my mates.
i mean pills are a rare thing, but when your mate spends 120 all his bday money on a load of coke its getting a problem im sure:whip:
i turned it off because tbh it was making me want to take it, making it out as if everyone takes it, its no bad thing, most people dont get addicted. it was the biggest promotion for the drug ever i think. it also pissed me off the people who are making loads off of it and other people make an honest living, i dunno, the whole thing just pissed me off and i had to turn it off:whip: |
