I finally got the chance to check out the place. And I'm glad I did. The venue was indeed awesome (except for the VIP area which caused me to sweat off 10 pounds just by standing still). And it's also cheap too, so supple young'ns like myself can go to without paying a dastardly cover charge. Watching Dave, Packer, and Travis spin brought back memories at Nuno's...except there's actually people in the audience this time. Can't wait to go next week to check out the progressive TAs Andres and Matthias.

Word Pete. I had a great time tonight, was really feeling the tunes and there's nothing like playing to a crowd that's enjoying it too. I'm really not sure how many people were there, but it was probably somewhere between 50-100. Actually probably closer to a hundred than to fifty. Travis, Dave and I tagged from open (10) til midnight when Craig went on... and we had a in blast! I got to play my new whiteroom vinyls... Whiteroom (Original Mix) and Airwave - Save Me (Whiteroom Remix), amongst other gems. But yeah the set just flowed really well and we had the place jumpin!
Ooof, and they've replaced the ty DJM600 with a Rane MP 2016 Rotary... FAWK IT IS NICEEEEEEE. The guys had a bit of trouble with it at first because of the lack of split cuing, but I loved it, very smooth EQs and brilliant sound. BRILLIANT sound.
Can't wait for next week, need my dose of Matthias-pwng! |

YES!!! yeah the split cue can be annoying, but the sound quality is much much better.

You're almost too kind lol. I promise I wont dissappoint, especially since I am filling in for Craig. A crowd of 100-150 isnt too bad. hopefully the people that went had a good time to go back and spread the word. I'd really like to see Eternal take off. |
