Not at all. People who try drugs arent druggies either, but judging from the extensive list that some people have here, it's quite clear that there are some pure druggies. Which is a shame.

...last time i checked, the number 1 or number 2 (forget exactly) reasons for death are both related to cigarettes and alcohol. i think the number one reason for death by car accident is due to drunk driving.

And you know why that is, it's because they're both legal. If all these other drugs that people have mentioned here were to become internationally legal then that statistic would most probably change. Likewise, if alcohol and cigarettes were to become illegal, there'd be no more deaths due to them than there would due to any other drug.

got a point there

but still - i'm happy with what i do, i do it in moderation, i know how to say "no", i know my limits due to previous experience and i know not to push those limits. unless i'm in a very safe and familiar environment with people i know and trust 100% i will never go out and write myself off, i like the feeling of being in control. same goes for my close circle of friends, bad thing is seeing the friends you had lose control and act without being in control... silliness

Interesting thread...

There isn't a drug that I haven't tried....Back in my younger/wilder days....

People would ask me what was my drug of choice, I would ask "What have ya got?"

I lived in Europe for a few years, partied like a RockSTAR...came back to the US and continued my RockSTAR tour...

It got to be toooooo much....way too much....

Feb 13th, I will have 6 years clean and sober...:D

Only nicotine and caffiene for me now....but don't think that I can't dance for 10 or 12 hours straight in a club...:)....Just ask anyone that I party with in Toronto when I make the trek up there from Detroit...:D

It is very obvious that the fact that those drugs are illegal, certainly doesn’t stop the distribution and use of them, so I don’t buy it. Besides, judging by how you worded all that, I think I can safely assume you pulled that out your ass. We'll really never know unless they make all that legal, which is very doubtful:p

Don't confuse experimentation with addiction. You have no idea of the motives behind each and everyone's drug use... yet you feel like you can make generalizing statements

Smart man.

And whoever wrote this:

I laugh at friends who generalize and say; "trance is for people who do acid and all sorts of drugs and are or look like ginos, and probbaly gay."

Sad thing is it might be true.

I laugh at you.

On a regular basis, I stick to my nicotine, alcohol and pot. I sometimes do E & K but not like I used to, mushrooms are sweet too.

Won't touch acid with a ten-foot pole anymore, I think I did enough in high school to last me a lifetime. lol Coke I've never tried and don't have the desire to do so, same with G.
SID133
only smoke hydro
hydrocodone
xanax
coke almost daily
smoked lean
xtasy
and a loads of beer

i like to think that i lived life to the fullest even if it dont last long

are you trying to say that drug and alcohol consumption would be the same on an average night out?

Can you not understand ratios?

Do you honestly think that if you take the amount of people who smoke and/or drink, and switched them to using meth, or coke, or mdma, or even weed instead. You really think the death toll would be in the same ballpark, let alone lower?

Before you go saying how many people die from drinking/smoking, I suggest you find out how many people actually do those things.
Then compare that number to the amount of people who do "X" drug, and the amount of people who die from doing it.

The numbers will certainly destroy your theory, let alone the fact that many of the deaths caused by illegal drugs dont get recognized, in comparison to the way over estimated numbers that anti drinking/smoking groups will throw you.

Some of these drinking/smoking numbers are so inflated, because they relate the deaths to those causes so easily. IE: someone dies of a disease that could be caused by smoking, and the person smoked it counts as a death for smoking. But if someone died from a heart attack, which very well may have been partially caused by a sprint of cocain use in their life, it wont be counted as a death for coke.

That being said, I can not blame you outrageous statement on extensive drug use. Thats 100% pure you.

It would be a fraction of a % of the original toll.
