One of my friends got a crow stuck in the hood scoop of his WRX STi. If you know what sort of car that is, you know how huge the hood scoop is. |

Funny you mention..
A friend of mine from highschool's dad owns houses throughout Hamilton and collects the majority of his income as a landlord.
He moved my friend's older sibling into one of the apartments in one of the larger houses downtown (the house had been split into 3 separate apartments - basement, main floor, upstairs). She lived in the upstairs apartment for school. The main floor apartment was a couple and the basement apartment was a retired, widowed lady in her early 70s (You can see where this is going...).
Every day Liz (friend's older sibling) saw the elderly lady either gardening, out to walk to some of the closer stores, pick up the mail, etc. About the third week into December, around Christmas she realized she hadn't been seeing her out at ALL. She called her dad to call the apartment, which he did. No answer. Knock on the door. No answer. Finally goes in to find the lady deceased on the couch. Rigor mortis already. :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:
So ya, if anyone's planning on moving to Hamilton and is excited over finding this 'great cheap basement apartment in the South-West section' there's a reason for that...
They still haven't found a tenant I don't think, ha. |
