A really old woman in my grandmas apt. building died in her apt. and the whole floor smelled awful.. turns out she was trying to leave to apt because when the firemen broke in the place " Here's Johnny" style they found her body up against the door.. it had been in there for like a week...in the summer.. and we all know that elderly ppl never have on the air.. so you can imagine what it was like.. thank gaaad my grandma moved cause i would get the creeps having to walk past the apt everytime i went to see my gran.

I think you might be surprised how little flesh it takes to make a large room stink.
in the restaurant I have many experiences with this. I found chicken(a 4 oz portion of breast) that had fallen out of the cooler and been missed for a while(3-4 days). It didnt stink until I moved it, but then the smell was so strong, it literally knocked me off my feet. Ok really I jerked back so hard that I fell, but still
another time 10 lbs of chicken wings went bad in the cooler on us(bad cooler!) and the stench from the bucket after the wings had been thrown in the garbage outside was bad enough that you could smell it restaurant wide. We had to buy meals for people cuz it was so nasty. |
ugh i hated when that happened when worked in smaller places, or outside catering, when u open up a warmer to find a few plates from a dinner two weeks ago  |

So this morning Gamma headed to work and went into the hallway between all the apartments and smelled gas. So immediately I called the gas company. They sent a guy over, and immediately he said that it wasn't gas, it was decay. But the smell is so strong that it is something big decaying. So it could be a body in the basement apartment where no one lives and it's closed so we can't get in there.
We need the TOTA CSI on this one. |
Ew. And I thought the mystery of the broken toilet seat was bad. :wtf: |
