Hey Mike... whats up??

well.. u should talk to the people in the canadian forums..
they are the nicest people on earth (Ex:.. Insomneac..Apri_Peel..Patticus...B.S.E...FastDjMp3) they live in different areas...

well i was just in vancouver in the beginning of Oct... the weather wasnt that cold yet.. plus you shouldnt worry about clubbing and stuff to do.. theres always something to do there.. =o)

hope u have fun.. and talk to them k?

:p :p ...oh I dont know if you just want to go clubbing there.. but if you are into driving.. check some of the ghost towns in B.C..( awesomeeeee)

Well, make damn sure you bring at least three winter coats, man.. it's really cold here right now..:toothless

Uhm...I can't really speak for any other scene other than my own and TO's..but Ontario's a bumpin place for partying..so's Montreal..

As for a week in particular..don't bother..we're open always! I'd come in the summer though.. seriously.:) WHo wants to visit a forsaken arctic wasteland?

hehe.. hope I haven't scared you away from this friendly, yet backward country..

Canada is really one of the best places in the Earth , specially Montreal , a city that is half european and half american . As B.S.E said , we always party and we are always open , however coming here in the winter is not really great (unless ur a ski or snowboard fan). I've been once to Toronto (it's nice too) but i don't know a lot of things about the western parts of Canada , i hope the peeps from Calgary & Vancouver will help u

Laterz :D

so what..they dont promote parties..or have yearly massives?..or a yearly club event that is off the hoook?

more visitors for cnd : )
anyways, mike, if you do decide to come to the west coast, come anytime. there are always tons of special events here. last weekend there was spooky 6, in the summer, theres quite a few major ones, the two that i hear a lot about are apex and summer love (went to summer love this summer, it was awesome). if you end up coming in winter, no prob. the weather is nice and mild (not like on the east coast where you DO need three winter coats just so you dont freeze to death hehe). the temps are in the 30's 40's and you can go up the mountans where you get tons of snow and you can ski, board, party, and party smore. if you want a scoop of vancouver party life, visit these two sites: www.teamhardcore.com and www.clubvibes.com some vancouver ta's and i are planning a ta party sometime soon. also check out canadian forums, we've got some discussions about parties and clubs and major events. just remember one thing, dont overplan cause then your trip wont be as fun
peaks for now,
apri ;)

calgary varies somewhat for clubs and shizat
like this summer, the major promoter took a break and the summer was fairly dry for good stuff, but things are picking up now
one thing to look forward to here is gatecrasher
about once (maybe twice) a year, defstar (the major promoter) brings in gatecrasher dj's and decor, it's a lot of fun

let us know when you're planning on heading up and we'll take a look at what's coming up :)

You wanna come at a good time? Come for WEMF 2002. Holy crap. I'm not sure if you've heard of it, World Electronic Music Festival? 3 day rave/camping weekend..150+ djs (the likes of Oakenfold, John '00' Fleming have graced the stages the previous years..) seriously! Go to that!

you should soo come up! Weve got a hefty portion of TAs in Western canada(Van city, and victoria) some here in Calgary(good) and a few in Edmonton(not soo good) then its pretty barren across the prairies, to Toronto and all of southern Ontario. off to Montreal and Quebec, and really, who wants to go to the east coast?

Let us know when you are comin and we will open our arms to show you our great cities(Mine is the best)

hey mightymike, a good place to start is to check out the 'canadian forums' part of the board. You can read up on some of the messages that other TA's post up so you have a good idea of the special happenings around Canada. Enjoy your stay.
